About Dubrovnik

Dubrovnik is one of the top tourist destinations in the world. Is called " Pearl of the Adriatic ".
Founded in 7th century. It reached its peak in Renaissance era as an independent city state that rivaled Venice. The entire walled old city of Dubrovnik is an UNESCO World Heritage site. The walls are the symbol of the city and offer amazing views from the guards' walkway.

Besides the great Dubrovnik walls and Ravelin fortress from 16th century, which protected Dubrovnik for centuries, there are plenty of other thing to see, like the Roland's Column, Bell Tower ,Sponza Palace and Rector's Palace, as well as Franciscan Monastery with the oldest pharmacy and many other examples of Dubrovnik cultural heritage.You can visit Elafiti islands too, their beautiful bays, small authentic villages, amazing nature.

Dubrovnik has a rich cultural life that includes Dubrovnik theatre, several cinemas as well as Dubrovnik Film Festival and Dubrovnik Summer Festival, held every year in July and August.

National park - island of MLJET

The Park is characterized by two deep bays which are called lakes due to their narrow passages to the open sea.

Both lakes are surrounded by dense Mediterranean vegetation. There is a small island in one of the lakes with 12th century Benedictine monastery.There are a lot of legends connected with this island. One of them is that Mljet was holiday destination of greek hero Ulysses.

Walking and cycling are allowed all around the Park. You can enjoy the silence and amazing nature.

Cavtat

The old town of Cavtat is situated at the south slopes of the peninsula of Rat, in the immediate vicinity of Dubrovnik. Known as Epidaurum in ancient times. Today, Cavtat is the tourist and cultural centre of Konavle, the southern region of Croatia.

Cavtat is the town of beautiful beaches and luxury hotels together with a traditional way of life and preserved customs.
It has 7 kilometres long walking paths extend through the dense pine wood so you can really enjoy the nature and relax.

Island of Korcula

The island of Korčula is known because of green vegetation and aromatic plants, many lovely coves and beaches. It is an island of sea, sun, stone and wine. There are several small places scattered on the island, like town of Korcula, Vela Luka, Zrnovo, Pupnat, each place has its own story and special charm.

Korčula town is one of the best preserved medieval towns of the Mediterranean. It is called even small Dubrovnik because it is surrounded by 13th century stone walls, reinforced with towers and bastions by the Venetians after 1420.

It is the birthplace of Marco Polo. The town has plenty of meandering street and cosy little shops, bars and restaurants to stop at.
